Understand how SigmaAccess Home handles user access and estate records before you make a purchase decision.

## Give each person the access their work requires

Home uses five administrative roles with adjustable permissions. Permission checks run on application pages, not just visible buttons. Users verify their email before access; banned users cannot sign in and active sessions are ended when a ban is applied.

## Trace actions to the person responsible

Check-ins, check-outs, cancellations, booking decisions and account changes record the actor and time. Access logs support review of gate activity. They are records of actions entered by users, not an independent identity-verification service.

## EU hosting, with alternatives by agreement

Standard hosting is in the EU. Other hosting regions can be considered for preferences or national and regional requirements, at additional cost. Octacraft operates the platform and provides security updates as part of the annual fee.

## Choose a retention policy for your estate

Automatic deletion is disabled by default. When enabled, customers choose the retention period. Agree a policy that fits your record-keeping obligations; do not assume a fixed 12-month deletion period. Data export is available free on request.

## Agree backups separately

Backups are a paid add-on. Weekly and monthly schedules are standard options; other schedules may incur further charges. Confirm backup retention and restoration arrangements in the quote before relying on them.
